Complex Care Services

Health Now works collaboratively with healthcare services, Local Authorities and Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) to support the safe and timely transition of individuals from hospital into the community. We provide tailored, nurse-led care packages within individuals’ own homes and community settings, based on their specific needs.

Our person-centred approach enables us to support individuals with a range of complex physical health, mental health, cognitive and neurodevelopmental needs. This can include specialist clinical interventions such as PEG feeding, tracheostomy care, catheter care and wound management, with each package designed to reduce risk, promote independence and enhance quality of life.

Our Staff

At Health Now, we prioritise the safety and well-being of our service users above all else. Our recruitment process follows Safer Recruitment guidelines, with thorough vetting and compliance checks aligned to NHS Employment Standards and CQC regulations. Our team includes highly skilled NMC-registered nurses and dedicated support workers specialising in mental health and neurodevelopmental disorders as well physical health.

The team is led by our Head of Clinical Services and Registered Manager, our staff benefit from tailored training and supervision, equipping them to deliver personalised, high-quality care using Positive Behaviour Support, Trauma-Informed, risk management and recovery orientated approaches. We are dedicated to meeting NHS framework standards and providing exceptional care for complex and vulnerable individuals.

Gerard Fogarty

Registered Manager
Head of Clinical Services at Health Now, leading quality, governance and regulatory compliance across complex care and clinical site services. He oversees safeguarding, infection prevention and control and clinical assurance, with a strong focus on building systems that genuinely support safe effective care rather than creating noise. With a background spanning critical care, emergency care, community services and senior operational leadership, Gerard is known for his calm hands-on style and his ability to steady complex services under pressure. He brings energy, curiosity and a sense of humour to leadership, believing that strong governance and great care can and should coexist.

Workforce & Safer Staffing Lead
Helena is our Workforce & Safer Staffing Lead at Health Now Complex Care, bringing over 10+ years of experience within healthcare recruitment and staffing. Having spent the majority of her career working across the healthcare sector, she has developed a strong understanding of the importance of finding not just the right person for a role, but the right person for the individual receiving care. Her role at Health Now focuses on recruitment, workforce planning, safer staffing and building strong teams around individuals with complex care needs. From sourcing and onboarding staff to supporting the development of care packages and ensuring teams have the right skills, experience and training, Helena works closely with colleagues, healthcare professionals and families to help create safe, consistent and person-centred care.

Emily George is our Business Manager for complex care, with over 10 years of leadership in healthcare her mission is to enhance service delivery for individuals with complex health needs. Grounded in values of collaboration and innovation, She brings a patient-centered approach to operational excellence. Emily's dedication to this field is reflected in fostering environments that resonate with Health Now's culture of high-quality care and genuine empathy for our patients and their families. At Health Now, her role involves strategic business management with a focus on complex care, integrating new business development, and recruitment advertising. Leading efforts to improve healthcare services, I leverage my extensive network and deep understanding of mental health to connect professionals with opportunities that advance their careers and enhance patient outcomes. Hobbies - Spending quality time with my family, singing/dancing and horsemanship.

Group Associate Director of Compliance and Operations
Olivia has been working in the Healthcare Recruitment industry since 2007. She is responsible for the management of the Compliance Team, to ensure seamless onboarding and maintenance for all employees. Olivia oversees compliance audits, managing investigations, and providing training to staff to ensure regulatory adherence. Her role is crucial in safeguarding patient privacy, ensuring safety, and maintaining the integrity of healthcare operations. Outside of working hours Olivia’s time is occupied by her young son and her love of dining out. She has an infectious laugh and can be heard from afar!
